We start off the evening with classic conjuntos & septetos from the 1920s to the '40s including early Sonora Mantancera, Septeto Habanera, and Justi Barretto. We'll also hear a rare recording of Conjuto Cuba Libre featuring trumpeter Walfredo de los Reyes II and bongocero bilingue.
After the Community Music calendar at 9:30pm we will play an exclusive interview with Paulito FG. We'll then spin a popuri of music of Cuba's 'Golden Era' of the 40s/50s, followed by Cuban Hip Hop, Regueton, and Timba.
