Tonight!! Radio Cuba Canta does some fund raising for KPFA. We'll start off with some great Afro-Cuban music for the first half hour. Then we begin the second half hour with the Ron Flores Community Music Calendar followed by some great classics of the Danzon and Charanga. Our second hour begins with some great conjuntos, and the program concludes with some of cuba's great jazz bands. All the while we will help raise $$$ to keep KPFA going.
That's Saturday May 7, at a special time: 7 PM till 9 PM Pacific time: SF Bay Area, LA, West Coast; 10 PM till 12 mid night Eastern Time: NYC, MIA, & LA HABANA, CUBA!
